Get paid by Mobile Money. No change, no wahala.

• Each driver on TrotroLive Pay gets a personal QR code with a 6-digit pay code and your name on it, printed as a sticker for your vehicle. You can also open and download your QR from the driver app.
• A passenger scans the sticker, or types the 6-digit code on trotro.digital/pay. Before paying, they see your vehicle registration and your name, so they know the money is going to you.
• The passenger enters the fare and approves the Mobile Money prompt on their phone. You receive the full fare: the processing and platform fees are paid by the passenger on top.

• Every payment is credited to your TrotroLive wallet and shows up in the driver app.
• Cash out from the driver app, or by USSD from any phone once your account is activated: you enter your registered number and your 4-digit cashout PIN.
• Money is always sent to your registered Mobile Money number, never to another number, whichever phone you cash out from.
• We cover the Mobile Money transfer charge on withdrawals: you receive the amount you asked for.
• Larger withdrawals are checked by our team before they are sent, to protect your money.
• Forgot your PIN? Reset it in the driver app, or ask our team. After several wrong PINs, cashout is paused for a while to keep your wallet safe.

The fares riders see on TrotroLive are the official fares from GPRTU fare notices, each with the date it takes effect. When a new notice is issued, we load it with its start date, so riders see the new fare from the right day and drivers are not argued with over the old one.
