New GPRTU and GRTCC fares took effect at 00:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026, under the notice of 23 September 2026. Trotro fares went up by about 8%, and the shortest trotro trip now starts at GH₵5.50. Shared taxis are charged per seat by distance.
